I think by now everyone knows the story of one of baseballs most bizzare games. The infamous "ten cent beer night" promotion at Clevelands Municipal Stadium on June 4, 1974 featuring the following belligerents: Cleveland Indians & Texas Rangers ball clubs, MLB Umpires and several thousand drunk fans. Outcome: not pretty. Heres a look at some of the images from that surreal night.

Rangers skipper Billy Martin blows kisses to the crowd after being taunted before the game.
Right fielder Jeff Burroughs starts to get harrassed by fans.

So much going on in this photo to explain, but I do know that is current Rangers color guy Tom Grieve on the right

Fans, Indians players & even umpires all suffered injuries as a result of the melee
